Echeveria 'Tippy'.
August 6, 2010 This hilarious hybrid of Dick Wright gave me the name Echeveria 'Sunburst.' This name also frequently appears in collections. Valid name is Echeveria 'Tippy'. It is a hybrid, where one parent is Echeveria cuspidata. The plant is very densely leaved rose, on average, to 12 cm. Characteristic red spikes on the tops of leaves and red coloration on their underside. The leaves are succulent and significantly grow in a dense rosette buckling, which is almost without a stalk.
For full color plants need full sun location.
Cultivation is not difficult, regular watering in summer, wintering in a cold room with a limited supply of water. What must be careful, the water on the leaves. When frequent waterlogging leaf surface may create brown dots, which are the first sign of decay. Therefore, always pour into a bowl.
