Euphorbia decidua

Euphorbia decidua Type of Euphorbia decidua produces nearly spherical, underground caudex. Young seedlings have small obovate leaves up to 5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Those in doplosti disappear and are replaced from the top of the vegetation growing fleshy, three to pentagonal twigs to 12 cm long.

Plants have a special color caudex bark, giving the impression as if they were sprinkled with brown dust. Euphorbia decidua is moderate species for cultivation. Definitely requires minerals for their growth, rapidly vysychyvý substrate.

Occurrence: Agola, southern Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe
