Uncarina roeoesliana
October 27, 2009Uncarina roeoesliana is a succulent plant, forming in adulthood with low polokeře ztloustlým tribe. In Madagascar, where the species originated, we can find in the wild specimens with a trunk up to 40 cm in diameter. The exception is fialovokvětý Uncarina abbreviata kind that is not in our collections too frequent. Crown is fine, richly opýřené light green leaves on relatively long stems. Tubular flowers are large, bright yellow color, without dark central eye.
Watering in summer, the plant requires substantial, sunny location on the site. When insufficient watering could direct sharp sun burn leaves. The flowers appear in summer. In this period, a suitable plant přihnojovat. Unkarina quite easily overwinter in normal room temperatures. Of course there is a bright spot and occasional watering.
With minimal care, rewarding its beautiful shape and rich flowers.
The plant is attractive even after flowering with their testicles, which forms a kind of capsule ended harpunovitými growths.
